# Meeting Follow-Through Audit

Use this before buying or deploying any meeting action item tracker.

## 10-Minute Audit

1. Pick one recurring meeting.
2. Pull the notes or agenda from the last three sessions.
3. List every action item, decision, risk, blocker, and unresolved question.
4. Add the owner for each item.
5. Add the date the item was first raised.
6. Add the current status: open, blocked, pending, or done.
7. Mark every item without an owner.
8. Mark every item older than two cadences.
9. Start the next meeting by reviewing only the marked items.
10. Close completed items visibly and carry unresolved items forward.

## Pass Criteria

- Every open item has one owner.
- Every open item has a current status.
- Every blocked item has a named unblocker.
- Every stale item has a decision: close, carry forward, or escalate.
- The next agenda starts from the open list instead of a blank document.

## When You Need A Tracker

You need a tracker when the same unresolved item appears in more than two recurring meetings, when follow-up depends on one person's memory, or when owners are clear in the room but vague afterward.

Minutia keeps the running list current across recurring meetings: actions, decisions, risks, blockers, owners, due dates, and lifecycle history.
